Weight Class Introduction

  • Atomweight: ≤ 105 lbs (47.6 kg)
  • Strawweight: ≤ 115 lbs (52.2 kg)
  • Flyweight: ≤ 125 lbs (56.7 kg)
  • Bantamweight: 126 - 135 lbs (57.2 - 61.2 kg)
  • Featherweight: 136 - 145 lbs (61.7 - 65.8 kg)
  • Lightweight: 146 - 155 lbs (66.2 - 70.3 kg)
  • Welterweight: 156 - 170 lbs (70.8 - 77.1 kg)
  • Middleweight: 171 - 185 lbs (77.6 - 83.9 kg)
  • Light Heavyweight: 186 - 205 lbs (84.4 - 93.0 kg)
  • Heavyweight: 206 - 265 lbs (93.4 - 120.2 kg)
  • Unlimited: No weight limit

Competition Rules Summary

1. Rounds and Duration

  • Matches are conducted under standing fight rules.
  • Each round lasts 1 minute.
  • Judges score each round. The total match duration is determined by the actual number of rounds (see Draw and Extra Rounds).

2. Methods of Victory

  • Knockout (KO): Opponent loses consciousness or cannot continue due to strikes.
  • Technical Knockout (TKO):
    • Referee Stoppage: Referee deems one fighter unable to intelligently defend themselves against standing strikes.
    • Doctor Stoppage: Ringside physician deems one fighter unable to continue due to injury.
    • Corner Stoppage: Fighter's corner decides to stop the fight.
  • Decision:
    • Determined by judges' total scores after standard rounds.
    • Decision types include: Unanimous, Split, Majority.
  • Disqualification (DQ): A fighter is disqualified for severe or intentional fouls.
  • No Contest (NC): Fight is stopped due to accidental foul or external interference, rendering the result invalid.

3. Draws and Extra Rounds

  • If judges rule a draw after one round.
  • An extra round is immediately contested (1 minute), scored individually by the judges.
  • Extra rounds continue until a winner is determined by the judges after a round concludes.

4. Scoring Criteria (10-Point Must System)

Judges score each round based on the following priorities (10-9, 10-8, rarely 10-7), focusing on standing performance:

  • Effective Striking: Emphasizes quality, damage effect, and volume of strikes landed.
  • Effective Aggressiveness: Intention and action of actively attempting to finish the fight with effective offense.
  • Fighting Area Control: Dictating the pace and positioning in the standing phase.

5. Major Fouls (Applicable to Standing Fights)

  • Headbutting, eye-gouging, biting, spitting, hair pulling.
  • Groin attacks.
  • Striking the back of the head, spine, or throat.
  • Downward elbow strikes (12-to-6).
  • Timidity (intentionally avoiding contact).
  • Grabbing opponent's shorts.
  • Using abusive language.
  • Disobeying referee instructions.

*Note: Fouls may result in warnings, point deductions, or disqualification at the referee's discretion.

6. NEXT COMBAT Special Note

This platform promotes combat sports. All competition rules are subject to official pre-fight announcements. Fan voting primarily influences matchmaking and fighter popularity; the final outcome is determined by performance in the ring and judges' decisions.
